If you have heard any of the following from your Kangen™ representative then you are likely caught up in a web of what many people have fallen for in the past.

1.	THE PITCH: Other companies use mesh plates which are dipped in platinum and then cut leaving edges exposed which can be toxic.
1.	TRUTH: The reality here is that nothing could be further from the truth. Any company holding a UL or CSA safety rating is without question safe. Ask about UL or CSA ratings and rest easy.

2.	THE PITCH: The Enagic machine uses solid plates and solid plates provide more surface area.
TRUTH: This is an easy one. When you think about surface area with mesh vs. solid plates, consider this. Would it take you longer to drive from point A to point B on a road with mountains where you had to go up and down each mountain, or could you get there faster if there were no mountains? Obviously the road with the mountains would take longer to travel because it has more surface area. The same is true with MESH plates. Mesh plates have peaks and valleys and thus provide more surface area (or a longer road for the water to travel across).

Keep in mind the Enagic machine cost around $4000.00, but according to this write up, their plates are worth $55,000.00. Go figure!

5.	THE PITCH: Enagic has the only machine that will create “super water” which is 11.5 and 2.6 ph.
5.	THE TRUTH: Enagic can in fact create that water. What they don’t generally tell you is that a chemical is needed to do so. They say it is just a salt solution, but when we asked if we could just use salt water, the answer was “No”. We assume there is more to the chemical than meets the eye, because the bottle reads “Do not drink”.

6.	THE PITCH: The Enagic machine has the best and simplest filtration on the market.
6.	THE TRUTH: The Enagic filters contain “calcium sulphite” also known as “calcium sulfite”. According to our research, this is one of the most toxic substances on earth. Here is a look at the many substances besides water needed to reach high PH and ORP levels with the Kangen Unit.

These ports are used to inject a substance which they call a “electrolysis enhancer”. The bottle clearly warns you not to drink it.

They say it is just a saline solution, but you must buy theirs instead of using your own salt. The ingredients list more than just salt.
