There are quite a few so called “opportunities” out there, but many of them are difficult to get going, and some just don’t make any sense. We looked simply at the top 3 money makers. Since money wasn’t the only concern, we rated the opportunities on the following.

1) Tyent USA
It is no surprise that Tyent USA is our number one choice for a business opportunity in the rapidly growing water ionizer business. A big determining factor for our decision was the obvious fact that they are currently the number one machine on the market, and they are growing faster than every other company. Let’s face it, since their machine is in the same price bracket as most of their competitors, it only makes sense that most would be water ionizer customers will go for the best product out there. Beyond price and quality, we dug further in to Tyent USA to see what exactly sets them apart.
Company stability		Tyent USA has their feet firmly planted. It seems that many competitors try to flaunt their own stability. Tyent USA has done nothing but grow in the last few years, and they are showing no sign of slowing down. Tyent USA is a financially stable company with a great team of top professionals to lead the way.
Product performance		Once again, this is the obvious one for why the opportunity with Tyent USA is such a great one. Let’s face it, it is best to represent the best. When you can look your potential customer in the eye and say with confidence that you are giving them the very best machine at the very best price, you will feel proud about the fact that you are giving you customer a great product at a realistic price.
Product price		This is an obvious one, but it is worth mentioning. Everyone likes a good deal, and everyone wants to feel like they bought the best product at the best price.
Customer service		This is an easy one for you to realize very quickly. Simply pick up the phone and give them a call. You will get a live person from 9 to 5, and you will get a prompt return phone call if you leave a message. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to help.
Technical Support		Again, an easy one for you to test. With a full staff of technicians, there is always someone available to help in this area. This may be one of the most important areas to consider since “AS” (after sales service) is like oxygen. You never think about it until you don’t have it when you need it.
Training		OK, this is officially the MOST important aspect of starting your own water ionizer business. You need help. You want to be guided but not controlled. You want to be educated but not micro-managed. You want to be given good marketing material, but you want the ability to create your own identity in the market. Some companies give you a template website which sounds great at first, but the problem is that you will look like every other template website out there. Here is a tip; get your own website created. It is as easy as pie, and Tyent will guide you through the process.
Collateral (Brochures, Videos, Etc.)		We took off a half a point on this one, because Tyent USA didn’t have their video finished when we wrote this review. Rumor has it the video is now complete which would make it the latest video of its kind. We haven’t followed up to check on it, so let us know if it is done.
Startup Cost		We wish we could give them 5 stars on this one. Tyent USA has it down. For a minimum startup cost, you are literally handed a turn-key business. Your credit card that you buy your first machines on will likely be paid off before your first credit card statement comes in. Obviously, starting a business takes a few dollars to get going, but this industry is a great one, and success is not difficult with this product.
Marketing plan		Tyent USA is at the forefront of marketing. Tyent USA lucked out, because almost every review site out there (except Ion Ways review site) gives the Tyent line of water ionizers great ratings. Their success is greatly related to the superiority of their products and their highly acclaimed customer service and technical support.
Business skills needed		We removed a half a point here, because we don’t want you to think that you need zero skills to get going with Tyent USA. You will need to have some basic common sense, and you will need to have basic reading and writing ability. Tyent USA will walk you through the rest. They will never leave your side. They are there as much or as little as you need them.

2) Enagic (Kangen)
Enagic is our number two choice for a business opportunity. The challenge is that since Enagic is a Multi Level Marketing company, it is a different breed of opportunity. If you can get past the fact that it is an MLM company, there are people making money. Read on to learn what it will take to make it happen.
Company stability		Kangen is an extremely stable company, so no worries there. They have been around for many years, and they will likely be around for a long time coming.
Product performance		In our opinion, the Kangen machine is a good performing one. We hope to see them update some of their antiquated technologies. From a business stand point, we are hearing a lot of negativity about the transformer, manual flow control, single filter, chemical injectors, and 70’s style casing. You will likely need to do some good spin selling to get some of these features to fly.
Product price		This is going to be the main hurdle to overcome. If you choose to go represent Enagic, start thinking of the answer to “Why is it $2000.00 more than some other machines with more features?”. Enagic does have some pre-designed answers to some of these questions, but they don’t seem to be flying in the industry. Enagic states that their machines are built better and last longer, etc, but they offer a 3 day return policy as opposed to their competitors 60 day return policy and they offer a 5 year warranty which is the same as their competitors as well.
Customer service		Since Enagic is a large and established company, they do have good customer service in place. This may depend a bit on who you buy your machine from as well, since each Enagic rep is an independent contractor, you may have to go through them to get some customer service.
Technical Support		No issues here.
Training		We heard some not so great things about the training. This is going to depend greatly on the person you sign up with. One of the challenges with any MLM company is that the “whisper down the lane” principle comes into play. In other words, you will likely be trained by somebody who was trained by somebody else, who was trained by somebody else. So the training you actually get winds up being only a fraction of what it should be. Again, this depends on who you sign up under.
Collateral (Brochures, Videos, Etc.)		MLM companies often do a great job of supplying collateral. Enagic is no exception.
Startup Cost		You will need to spend around four thousand dollars ($4000.00) just to buy one machine. At that point, you need to fill out some paperwork, and you are then authorized to start selling.
Marketing plan		– This is a matter of opinion as well. We here at ionizersreviewed.com struggle to find many success stories with any MLM (multi level marketing), pyramid type companies. If you like the idea of being dependent on your down line (people you signed up) to make you money, then this might just be for you. Almost every other water ionizer company is based on a retail sales approach where you have control over your own profits.
Business skills needed		With Enagic, you don’t need much education to get started. Just follow the formula, and there is a chance you could make some money.

3) Ion ways
Ion ways is kind of like the kid brother of Enagic. Ion ways is the MLM arm of Jupiter water ionizers. The machines are made by the same manufacturer. Since this is another Multi Level Marketing company, you should once again review http://www.mlmwatch.org/ for more information.
Company stability		Ion ways is the newest entry into the MLM game. There is no clear and definitive answer on their stability.
Product performance		– In our opinion, the Ion ways machines are decent performers. There are certainly better choices out there for around the same price, so you will need to explain why Jupiter and/or ionways still doesn’t have a 7 plate machine, and why they still use transformers. A little creativity can help you here.
Product price		– The Ion ways machines are fairly priced. This should not be an immediate hurdle, but since it is an MLM company, take a close look at the commission structure before jumping.
Customer service		The customer service at Ion ways is pretty good. We have heard customer praises about their after sales service, but we have also heard complaints.
Technical Support		No issues here.
Training		Again, you are going to get trained based on who you sign up with. Ion ways may also offer some training guidelines, but most MLM companies want the person that signed you up to breed you into a great sales person. The problem is, they may not be a great sales person themselves.

Conclusion:

It is our opinion that a non MLM company is the way to go. You simply have more control, better training, less startup costs, more support, and a real, tangible, turnkey, business opportunity. Unfortunately, Tyent USA was the only retail sales company that we found with a great program in place. There are others out there, but none that we felt were worth mentioning.
