Echo has long claimed that their water ionizer machines don’t get scaling. Echo claims that it’s the only water ionizer company whose machines do not scale. Well, this claim is absolutely BOGUS and FAKE!

I’ve tested Echo’s machines and can tell you that Echo is lying. In this blog, I’ll tell you all about Echo’s fraudulent claims that its water ionizers do not scale.

Water Ionizers and Scaling

For those of you who don’t know, scaling is a problem that arises due to the buildup of minerals inside pipes or other water flow systems. Dissolved minerals such as calcium and magnesium salts gradually deposit over the passage of time causing significant damage to pipes or other machinery.

Water Ionizers are no stranger to this phenomenon. Scaling in water ionizers may damage them or reduce their water quality.

In fact, scaling on water ionizer plates is known to reduce the amount of therapeutic molecular hydrogen in ionized water, because the solid mineral deposits (due to scaling) on the plates prevent the flow of current.

Without current passing through the plates, there’s no electrolysis. Electrolysis is the chemical process that allows a water ionizer to produce molecular hydrogen-based alkaline water. No electrolysis means no alkaline water. Therefore, scaling is a problem for water ionizers and if an ionizer brand like Echo is lying about their machines being scaling-proof. they need to be exposed.

The solution to your water ionizer scaling problem

The only way to prevent scaling in a water ionizer is to install a hard water filter before your water ionizer, to ensure the water that flows into your ionizer is free of excess mineral salts.

A Hard water filter will remove calcium and magnesium salts from the water supply to your ionizer and prevent it from scaling. When we say hard water, we mean water with a high amount of dissolved salts.

If you live in a hard water area where the water supply has a lot of dissolved salts, you’ll need to install a hard water filter or water softener. If you don’t install a hard water filter, you’ll definitely get scaling in your machine. Any ionizer company that says its machines won’t get scaling (In this case Echo) is lying!

An easy way to check for hard water is to check the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of your water supply. This may sound a bit tedious but it’s not. All you have to do is call your local municipality and ask for a water quality report or you could buy your own TDS meter for a few dollars and check the TDS levels yourself. A high TDS means the water is hard and may cause scaling.

Stay away from Echo Ionizers

The bottom line is that if you want to save your water ionizer machine from scaling, you must get a hard water filter.

Echo is lying and as of yet there is no water ionizer company that can prevent scaling in its machines. You have to install a water softener/hard water filter.

Echo’s fake claims should also serve as a warning to anyone who’s thinking of buying an echo ionizer. The company is lying and fooling its customers.
